Find the power to LOVE everything about yourself

I am not a model, nor do I pretend to be. I love fashion and everything that is nice out there. I am far for being slim and fit, but I like to work with what I've got and make the most of it. There is a lot of stigma nowadays, regarding the perfect weight or being as slim as possible. But we should first take a look in the mirror and have a chat with our true self, and ask: How do I really want to be? Will I be happy being hungry or sick all the time?

In my case, the answer is NO. I would rather have curves and enjoy them, than live on a short supply of energy. I am a strong, healthy girl, and I am happy just the way I am. There is no such thing as perfection, so I am perfect the way I am.

Please, dear girls, don't let media or the vain world of fashion take your mind, just work around it.

A month or so ago, I was lucky enough to win a competition, the prize -a photoshoot with Alex Marchis from Très Joli. We decided to go for something more dark and different, focusing on rays of light and textures. Thanks to Alex and his dedication, the location was an old manor surrounded by a lot of vegetation. The weather was hot and sunny, just perfect for a work on set. We forgot to bring water or food with us, but nothing could've stopped us anyway.

For this look, I opted for a pair of cheetah printed trousers from ZARA. The light weight fabric is like skin and the print is just amazing. It clashes with the background and that is what I was trying to achieve. This juxtaposition is pleasant to the eye.

BLACK SILK SHIRT - perfect choice I must add ! It is supposed to tame the look, as there is a lot going on in the background and on my trousers.

To match them, I am wearing a beautiful pair of ZARA sandals which has a very cheeky gold angle bangle. This gives a romantic feel to it and also, it accentuates that very sexy part of the leg.

The beautiful blue smokey eyes bring out the green of my eyes and it's also a nice touch to the entire ensemble. The beautiful and talented Loredana Lupea did an amazing job considering that I woke her up at 7am. I can't thank her enough for the effort and for being on set with me for the entire day.

Wild, big, puffy- lioness like hair- by the lovely Oana Marchis from Boudoir Salon Cluj. The hairstyle was exactly what I wanted and it lasted the entire day in the beaming sun and heat. That's how you know an amazing hairstylist.

We all know that this past weekend was Easter and for me this is a time of love, understanding and family time.

On Saturday, I painted the eggs- the orthodox way - red- but also gold for a modern touch. I was surprised how well they turned out.

Packing was a piece of cake for me, my numerous journeys back and forth UK&Ro have made me brilliant at putting outfits together in no time, and also at saving space.

Between breakfast and packing I managed to squeeze in a short shopping trip to my local Iulius Mall and buy 2gorgeous shades of pink lipstick a matte one and a cream lip satin that has a nice glittery look to it.

For when I was to be bored or have some spare time, I stuffed two Vogue magazines - easy reading and more fashion inspiration
In preparation for my very fast hairdo, I simply washed it and I also used the diffuser to blow dry it in order to give it more texture, volume and some curls. Otherwise, my hair tends to be silky soft and cannot be contained in a bum.

Easter Day

Since I can remember, this day is always about the family getting together, going to the curch in the morning to bless the food, everyone sitting around the table and having a laugh, enjoying the traditional/amazing food cooked by my auntie who is the matriarch of the family. I am always keen to have a lot of bread because it is baked in a clay oven and the taste is very different to any other type of bread. Actually, anything baked inside that oven tastes 100times better.

For my outfit, I wanted to wear something that would work in case of cold or warm weather. I went on a shopping craze on Friday and picked up a few items from ZARA(well...maybe everything except the shoes).

I ended up with an ALLBLACK look.

Crewneck coat was the starting idea of the look and I just added pieces from there.

Silk shirt with a simple collar to elongate my upper body.

Black coated trousers to keep me warm and easily keep clean while on the car, next to my English bulldog Sofia who is currently shedding. This pair is kind of making my legs look like tree trunck, but it's very comfortable and easy to style, so I;m just going to have to loose the weigh, because it;s are a keeper.

For a spot of femininity and balance, I added a gorgeous headband and a pair of nude high heels, not the most comfortable ones-I must admit. I like to always balance the darkness of the black.

To bring back some colour into my life, I am wearing a matte bright baby pink for my lippie by Sephora (no.09) and a purple smokey eye to bring up the green of my eyes. MAC MSF in medium dark as a contour and blush.

I enjoyed my weekend a lot, it was fun and festive, but also it took be back to my roots and I always love that.

NATURAL IS BEAUTIFUL

Recently, I've noticed that many girls are trying to make themselves look different, more 'plastic', let's say. By using a lot of make-up, fake eyelashes, fake tan, botox, etc. By no means, I am against that, everything that makes you happy is fine, and should be used as such. But please, let's not forget that underneath all of that 'work'

This is my personal opinion, and I am in no position to judge anybody. We all use tricks to accentuate what we love, and hide what we think it's not appealing to others. But sometimes, it's nice to take a step back, and just accept yourself - with all the spots, lumps and bumps.

I am not perfect - I am happy just the way I am.

No makeup, no tricks

This is a simple, casual look.

I was ready for my day in less than 10 minutes, I it turned out quite nice.

No make-up, hair loose, and jeans - perfect !

The cute sweater is an elegant choice because of the nice, gold sequins perfume bottle. It brings a bit of sparkle into this plain outfit.

Basic leggings are the perfect choice when you're in a hurry and have no clue what to choose for your bottoms. Plain boots and big bag for comfort. I tend to only go for big bags, I admit it. But I have way too many things to put in my bag, and yes - I don't need all of them...but then again, you can never know :)

The trench coat brings structure and style to the look. It makes everything look smart and put together without much work.

No time for accessories, and that is fine.

I just love how this came out, no work, no problems, no need for more elements.

My baby blue nails and quirky top is all the bling I need.

fun day

A well deserved break at Starbucks with friends is all I need on a cold, rainy day.

I saw a cute dog and I ended up playing with her for 10 minutes, she was so fluffy!!! I must take my cute Sofia with me sometime, she would love the attention too.

I slowly sipped my Chai Latte and enjoyed a nice day at the mall.
